Westville Old Boys Colts Rugby
The inaugural 2023 Colts Rugby season, which wrapped up at the end of September, brought together over 70 Under 13 to Under 18 boys. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evening saw the club come alive with youngsters honing their skills under the Westville Old Boys Club lights, while Sundays were spent putting their talent to work playing matches.
Westville Old Boys Junior Rugby management, members, and sponsors are all extremely proud of what was achieved this season. At the end of season prizegiving, awards went to the following players:
- Colts Club Player of the Year: Kwanda Mhlongo
- U18 Player of the Year: Travis Makowem
- U18 Most Improved Player: Simangaliso Hlongwana
- U15 Player of the Year: Seth Nyman
- U15 Most Improved Player: Lincoln Stanley
- U13 Player of the Year: Eliah Schonken
- U13 Most Improved Player: Jayden Ueckermann
