Our Under 18s took on Hillcrest this past weekend for the second time this season. In keeping with WOB tradition, our scrums were devastating, and our backline was keen to stretch their legs. Uyanda Fikizolo ran in a try, with Josh Garnett slotting the conversion. Unfortunately, with a few of our key players out due to injury after a long school and club season, Hillcrest were too strong for us this time round, and the final score was 7 - 29.

This past weekend, our Under 13s took on the Mighty Elephants at Kuswag School. It was a tough day at the office, with some brutal hits taken. Our boys kept their chins up, and sheer power from our forwards pack put Thando Mtshali over the line for a try. The final score was 5 - 21 in the Elephants favour.

A weekend wouldn't be complete without a massive performance by our Under 18 Colts. A last-minute scheduling change saw the boys taking on South Coast Warriors. Our try-scorers are becoming regulars on this list; Deon Mdima, Mlungisi Memela, Uyanda Fikizolo, and Anesu Chipendu all dotted down, while Chayce Cloete slotted 2 conversions. Ultimately, our second half performance wasn't as strong as the first, and the final score was 24 - 32 in SCW's favour. We go again next week!

Our Under 15s took on Ballito this week. It was a tough day at the office for our boys, but the sense of team spirit amongst the team made us proud to wear the WOB badge. The forward pack put in a fantastic performance and showed off what WOB are known for - big scrums! Ultimately, the scoreboard showed a 0 - 28 loss, but we're incredibly proud of the lads for their week-on-week improvement.

This week, our Colts headed to Kuswag for their weekend fixtures. The Under 13s took on Rovers in our first match of the day. The lead changed hands throughout the match but 2 tries by Buchele Chithi, 1 by Ethan van der Merwe, and a conversion by Tyler Maingard, saw WOB come out as 17 - 12 victors.

In the final match of the day, our WOB Under 18s took on Imbewu. The lads had the opportunity to stretch their legs and run in some tries - 2 by Uyanda Fikizolo, and 1 each for Deon Mdima, Kwanda Mhlongo, Chayce Cloete, Mlungisi Memela, and Amahle Zulu. The final score was 56 - 7 to WOB - well done boys!
